McCoy Farm & Gardens is such a hidden gem! I had the joy of photographing a rehearsal dinner here, and it was the perfect setting—peaceful, charming, and full of character. The grounds are beautifully kept, with lush greenery and a timeless Southern feel that creates such a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Visiting family from out of state I wanted to take a walk and found this lovely gem of a place. Easy for anyone to walk, dog friendly, and lots of beautiful gardens with many plants and flowers labeled. Seems like a great venue for a family gathering or event.
I had the privilege of working with McCoy Farm & Gardens for a wedding in the 2025 season. The grounds are beautiful, and the on-site home is elegant and dreamily classic. And the gigantic trees and wide-ranging foliage and florals? Delightful. 5 stars from Siena Marie Photography!
Getting married at McCoy Farm & Gardens
McCoy Farm & Gardens comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at McCoy Farm & Gardens
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at McCoy Farm & Gardens — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
