I just had my wedding reception at The Historic and it was the most amazing night! Brenna has been very responsive throughout the planning process. She made sure the tables and chairs were ready and the venue was clean. All of my guests loved the venue!
When choosing my venue, I wanted the traditional setting of a church but still wanted a slightly modern, industrial feel. Church On Main was the perfect mix for my vision with its brick walls, hanging lights, and metal accents.
We had our wedding here in July of 2023 and it was a dream. The staff was so helpful. They were able to work with me seamlessly during planning despite having a very busy schedule and living 3-4 hours away. The extras and add on rooms they provide were all incredible.
Brenna was the absolute best to work with! So incredibly nice and easy to deal with. She also made herself available whenever we had a question so that we could get the answers we needed to move forward with planning.
Getting married at The Historic
The Historic comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
