From the reviews
This place is so cute and we were pleasantly surprised to see so many healthy sunflowers still in season! We visited on a sunny Sunday and we were relieved to see that there was plenty of parking to accommodate the weekend guests.
Super friendly people working here! They sell their own honey (made on-site), other jared/canned items, as well as fresh produce. They also have pumpkin picking, cinnamon apple donuts, sunflower picking, and a corn maze. There is a great spot by the pond to rest and read a book if you ever feel like it too!
If you are looking for a fun day at a pumpkin patch with your kids, I recommend you visit Hanson's Farm, it's easy to get to and close to town. My boys and I enjoyed the hayride (they thought it was the coolest thing lol) and the freshly made cinnamon donuts were yummy.
Trip report from Hanson’s Farm. We went on a Saturday afternoon. While moderately busy, we didn’t have to wait for the hay ride. The instructions for loading on to the hay ride and selecting a sugar pumpkin from the field were not clear. Otherwise a fun experience.
Getting married at Hanson's Farm
Hanson's Farm comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
