We had the absolute best experience having our wedding at Ion Creek Club! The gorgeous waterfront scenery created the perfect backdrop for our big day, and the entire atmosphere was simply magical.
We absolutely loved Creek Club! It was the perfect venue for us. It's a beautiful setting and reasonably priced, plus mostly everything is included (linens are not). Other venues we looked at in the area were more expensive and required outside procurement of tables, chairs, plates, cutlery, catering, etc.
As far as wedding venues go in charleston county, this is a really solid spot. I don’t think you’ll find anywhere else at this price point that covers venue, food, and equipment. Also, the location speaks for itself. No place is perfect, this place deff had its flaws, but you can’t expect everything to be perfect.
I’ve been photographing weddings at venues in the Charleston area since 2015, and the Creek Club at I’on certainly makes the list of one of my favorite venues to work at. The Creek Club is not only great experience for me as a vendor but for couples and their wedding guests as well.

Creek Club At I'On comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
