We wanted to take a quick weekend trip someplace close to home to unwind and recharge. A quick search of area B&B's found this place. We love old homes and the hosts offered bonus options of a massage and candlelight dinner so that solidified our decision.
My husband and I spend 3 nights in the Lillian room! It was lovely but the best parts by far were Karen and Steve’s hospitality! They are lovely kind and generous people who work very hard to welcome and take care of their guests needs! They have done a beautiful job of renovation their unique historical home!
We chose to visit the Carlton house for our 39th wedding anniversary! We were not disappointed! We read the good reviews online and they were all true. We enjoyed the private message in our room, the delicious breakfast, and the friendly help given to us by Steve and Karen!!
It is amazing all the hard work Steve and Karen have done to make this house so beautiful. They are gracious hosts. Karen is a gourmet cook with southern charm. The impromptu fiddle and wash board music on the patio at dusk was fun! Thanks for a great weekend y'all.
