What a lovely place to host a diy wedding . Understaffed but really nice .not over the top , so bride and groom and families get top billing .but lovely enough for the occasion .
Attended my cousins wedding this weekend. It is far away and plenty of roadwork. It worth it. Once the new highway work is done it will be a lot easier to get to. Venue was beautiful. Great for any bride and groom.
I got married here last weekend and it couldn't have been more perfect. How anyone could give it less than 5 stars is beyond me. The owners were so amazing and catered to us WAY more than they had to. They treated us like family from the moment we visited the venue over a year ago.
This is a great venue for a cute, laid back country setting. We have attended weddings and showers for friends here and have always enjoyed our experience. My husband Brock and I have catered weddings and events at The Farmstead and the venue is very accommodating. The full kitchen makes catering a breeze.
Getting married at The Farmstead
The Farmstead comes up for weddings, going by their listing and couples’ reviews. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
