From the reviews
Windy Knob Farm as an event venue and short-stay could not come more highly recommended from me. Jen was absolutely fantastic, highly organized, and great to communicate with.
A gorgeous venue at a great price for our family-friendly event. The owner is very responsive and flexible, giving us a blank canvas to create a fun and memorable experience for all our guests.
Jen the owner was a great hostess. Communicated very well. House with equipped with everyday essentials. There was food in cupboards/ fridge for guests to use. Animals were very friendly. Would definitely stay again if we come to Boston
I can not say enough about this place! The property is gorgeous, the barn was perfect for our event and the owner is delightful. Everything was absolutely perfect and we will most definitely be using this venue over and over again.
Getting married at Windy Knob
Windy Knob comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Windy Knob
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Windy Knob — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
