We had the most amazing time at Trail Creek Ranch in July 2023! As a family of four with two young kids, the ranch offered everything we wanted and more. Our cabin was cozy and unique, and we were welcomed with a bouquet of fresh cut flowers on our porch (I was ecstatic- this is my love language!).
If you want an authentic Wyoming ranch stay, with breathtaking views, comfortable and homey accommodation and amazing hosts, this is the place for you! My husband and I were lucky enough to stay for 3 nights in The Sargent Room at the end of September and it was truly magical.

Getting married at Trail Creek Ranch
Trail Creek Ranch comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
