It’s hard to imagine a more enchanting location for a wedding than the Snake River Ranch in Jackson, Wyoming. My daughter's wedding, held there this past August, was nothing short of magical. Nestled against the stunning backdrop of the Teton Mountain Range, the ranch boasts a beauty that is both majestic and serene.
Snake River Ranch is pure magic. Tucked between the river and the Tetons, it feels like stepping into a postcard that’s somehow alive! It’s wild, serene, and breathtaking all at once. Every direction holds a new kind of beauty, from sunrise over the fields to the evening light dancing on the mountains.
We stumbled upon Snake River Ranch and sleigh rides and Im so glad we did. They were super easy and beyond helpful at booking and giving us all the information we needed prior to. Tommy who took us on the ride was so kind and very knowledgeable on the area as well as answered all the questions we had.
The sleigh ride at the ranch was awesome! Such wonderful hosts, and truly a great experience. Had s'mores halfway through the ride on an open fire, and returned to snacks and hot chocolate for the kids. Can't thank them enough! Hope to see y'all in Texas one day so we can extend the same hospitality.
Getting married at Snake River Ranch
Snake River Ranch comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
