Where do I even begin? My wedding planning process was a whirlwind of emotions, constant changes, and uncertainty surrounding Covid-19. Throughout all of that, I am so happy that I went through the Wild Oak Venue to host my wedding.
When I pictured my wedding, I wanted to be able to be present and participate in every part of the event with my guests. We had an intimate ceremony and reception (about 60 people) and had the full planning package with The Wild Oak.
The Wild Oak is a Dream Wedding Venue!!! I can confidently say it was the best decision we made. From the moment we arrived for our initial consultation, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. They listened to all of our ideas and helped us bring them to life in the most stunning way.
The Wild Oak was incredible to work with. Throughout the process they were very accommodating with all my requests and the vision. The day of the event went smoothly thanks to their team! I definitely recommend booking decor and floral through them, it made the process stress free and seamless.
Getting married at The Wild Oak Venue
The Wild Oak Venue comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
