From the reviews
Such a beautiful venue! I was so impressed with how much is included with the base rental price! We had free use of decorations left over from other weddings, some easels, welcome signs, serving platters, little vases, candles, lanterns, greeting arch way, speakers and microphone for DJing, free use of chairs and…
The barn on State Street is beautiful! It was exactly what we were looking for. A Classic, white barn with beautiful details. It’s gorgeous outside as well as indoors. The willow tree and the lights when it’s dark was one of our favorite parts.
We had the best experience on our special day! Everything was beautiful! Hailey went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and played a huge role in our planning and execution of our day! The outside is so beautiful!
My wife and I had our wedding dinner and reception here! Beautiful venue and really easy to work with! Great for couples who want inside and outside options! They don’t have any vendor requirements so we were able to have a food truck come in and soft serve machine set up!
Getting married at The Barn on State St.
The Barn on State St. comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
