From the reviews
Long post but bear with me! My husband and I were originally we're going to get married in July, but things happen, and we ended up getting married this March. Judy and her team were the most accommodating during this time.
Our daughter's wedding was here and we could not have asked for a better venue. The wedding service and reception areas were spacious and on level ground. The shade trees were just right.
The wedding site is perfect!. The nicest pond for a wedding backdrop. The pavilion is stunning and adds so much to a wedding. It is comfortable and everything is right together!! It is so nice to have the option to stay in one of the 3 house on the property.
This is a beautiful venue. The Large Cabin we stayed in was absolutely gorgeous and very tastefully decorated. Room for all three families that stayed in it. The kitchen I must say is beautiful and a dream kitchen if there ever was one! The bed was very comfortable and relaxing and the shower was nice and spacious.
Getting married at The Village Weddings & Events
The Village Weddings & Events comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at The Village Weddings & Events
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at The Village Weddings & Events — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
