From the reviews
Wow the facilities are impressive. The new dining hall even has a huge glass enclosed lemur exhibit you can sit and view. Might be a bit spendy for summer camp but I don't think you'll find another place like Bear River Ranch.
Cub Creek has been the best summer camp find and investment! This will be my son’s 6th year at camp. From the moment he leaves camp he talks about how he can’t wait to return the next summer.
Lori and Scott Martin, the owners of the science camp are great!! They are both well educated, very science and animal experts. Lori and Scott treat people with sincere love and care. They are sincere and very honest.
My daughter just got home from a week stay. She had lots of fun and really enjoyed the animals. She was excited to try the science electives and got super muddy while doing a cave explore. She made some pottery and played with various reptiles.
Getting married at Bear River Ranch, home of Cub Creek Science Camp
Bear River Ranch, home of Cub Creek Science Camp comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
