My husband and I got married on October 16, 2022 at The Sixpence and it was truly the best venue we could have chosen. We just celebrated our 1 year anniversary and I needed to give some credit to something that made our day so beautiful. Their staff was kind, helpful, organized, and great at communicating.
My husband and I got married at The Sixpence in late October 2024. From the day we first toured the property, we both fell in love and felt like nothing we had seen prior could compare!
The Sixpence was truly the dream venue. Not only is it absolutely stunning in every corner, but the team was incredible to work with from start to finish. They were organized, responsive, and made the entire day flow effortlessly. We felt so supported and cared for — every detail was thought of, every need anticipated.
I got married at the Sixpence on 9/22/2023 and it was pure magic. There are truly no words to describe the feeling that my now husband and I felt when we walked through the doors of the Sixpence for the first time.
Getting married at The Sixpence
The Sixpence comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
