From the reviews
I love the shanty bell the building is gorgeous, the owners are amazing. I highly recommend then to any bride or anyone needing a large venue for parties. The photos are all at the shanty bell, taken by Oaktree photography LLC
We were able to have my daughters wedding at the Shanty Bell. The groom was from Burley but, my daughter, the bride wasn’t. We had the best experience working with the owners of this venue. They helped in every way possible. They gave me recommendations for vendors for food, cake and drinks and cookies.
The best venue in town! Prices are very reasonable and Sheron and Shantala are so knowledgeable and made it a beautiful, and stress free occasion for all of us. I want to add that it was so much cleaner than some other venues I've seen. Their attention to detail is unmatched. I couldn't have been happier. Thank you
This is a charming event venue. Very comfortable, super cute, and tastefully decorated for our Christmas party. The staff was professional, friendly, and attentive. The catering was good. I recommend you check out it out if you have a party of any kind in the Burley or adjoining areas.
Getting married at The Shanty Bell
The Shanty Bell comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at The Shanty Bell
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at The Shanty Bell — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
