I’m writing this review poolside from my honeymoon as I was just married at The Oaks on Monday. I’ve left them 5 stars because that was the max but I would leave them 100 if I could. Me and my wife could not have been more satisfied with our experience at the oaks.
Where do I even start? Reading everyone else's reviews it's easy to see that The Oaks at Plum Creek is one of the best wedding venues in Colorado. My wife and I own a DJ & coordination company that frequents The Oaks as well as 100 other venues in Colorado.
My fiancé (now husband!) and I got married here in mid-August, and it was absolutely incredible. The attention to detail, communication, overall service, food, and drinks were impeccable.
Getting married at The Oaks at Plum Creek
The Oaks at Plum Creek comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
