From the reviews
Great venue for wedding. The City staff are great to work with. Perfect location and setting for our small intimate wedding. Only downside is that because it is a public park they can’t close off the walking trails nearby for a more private space but that is only minor.
Attended an evening wedding here. It is a beautiful venue for an event. The patio overlooks a little pond. The grounds are nicely manicured.
Great venue and location! And, staff was so helpful! Many of us said we wish we had gotten married here!
Excellent event space for weddings/family reunions/corporate gatherings. If you're a bride looking to book for your wedding, the bride's getting ready space is a 10x10' storage closet and the grooms getting ready space is the bathrooms. Clean. Spacious. Well managed.
Getting married at The Millhouse at Philip S. Miller Park
The Millhouse at Philip S. Miller Park comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at The Millhouse at Philip S. Miller Park
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at The Millhouse at Philip S. Miller Park — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
