From the reviews
Amazing little hidden gem for Columbia weddings! I will almost sound like I work here, but I assure you I do not. This place hits all the highs that I look for when in a wedding venue. I am a DJ so when I recommend a place it means something as I have been to tons of venues.
The Grove On Augusta is the perfect venue! The Lexington Chamber has their annual oyster roast here. The staff is easy to work with and the prices are very reasonable.
Courtney was absolutely incredible throughout my wedding planning process. Even though I didn’t end up having my wedding at this venue, I can’t say enough wonderful things about my experience working with her. From the very beginning, she was kind, responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping me.
Best place to get married. Recently got married on July 4th. Courtney was truly amazing helped this freaking out bride so much. Everything went so well and smoothly. I couldn’t have been more perfect. Thank you grove and Courtney for just a beautiful experience.
Getting married at The Grove On Augusta
The Grove On Augusta comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at The Grove On Augusta
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at The Grove On Augusta — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
