From the reviews
Mrs. Green and her amazing team made my wedding truly special. As the owner of the venue, she ensured everything was beautifully arranged, from the stunning flower arrangements to the elegant decorations. The space felt welcoming, peaceful, and perfectly suited for the occasion.
I had my husband's retirement party at The Green Magnolia. This venue has everything, ample parking, multiple cozy rooms for guests to gather (decorated in his/hers). There are options for different size party rooms, full kitchen and a spacious serving area. The staff is accommodating and easy to work with.
We recently held a baby shower at The Green Magnolia! In one word, the entire experience was FANTASTIC! The venue itself is beautiful and spacious. The owners and staff at TGM were exceptionally kind and knowledgeable, and helped us to pull the event together with class.
I just had my 80th birthday party at this beautiful venue. Mrs. Green was with me from the beginning to the end, staying constantly in touch with me to make sure all of my questions were answered. She was very patient and had good suggestions.
Getting married at The Green Magnolia
The Green Magnolia comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at The Green Magnolia
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at The Green Magnolia — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
