Farm at Cottrell Lake is what I call a slice of heaven on earth!! Brian and Melissa have created this beautiful space for celebrations that makes everyone feel welcome from the moment they step foot on the property!! As a wedding photographer, the Farm at Cottrell Lake is our favorite venue in this area!!
The Farm at Cottrell Lake is truly a magical wedding venue. The grounds are simply stunning, complete with rolling hills, fields and forests. Each building has a unique charm and pair together for the perfect package. How a place can feel both rustic and luxurious simultaneously is beyond me, but somehow they managed.
Where do I even start?! This venue is beyond stunning. There are so many photo opportunities dotted around the property. As bridal makeup vendor I had the opportunity to do makeup in the yellow farmhouse on the property. The inside is airy, bright and chic.
The Farm at Cottrell Lake is one of the most gorgeous venues in the area and one of my favorite venue to photograph weddings at! The renovated farm house has so many unique touches and is so clean! The owners, Brian & Melissa are just the sweetest, most accommodating people.

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge.
