When we started the process of looking at wedding venues, we knew that The Commons HAD to be on our list of venues to tour after reading so many rave reviews and seeing the many photos from past weddings.
We had our wedding at The Commons in June of 2022 and everything was phenomenal! The venue is stunning, the food is absolutely delicious and the service is really top notch. Multiple guests commented on how much they loved the food and how attentive the staff was throughout the evening.
The Commons 1854 was an absolute dream to work with, with a special shout out to Gianna and Paige. Our journey with them started in 2018 where we planned an April 2020 wedding. After the pandemic began, our April 2020 wedding turned into a November 2020 wedding, and then turned into an October 2021 wedding.
We had our wedding reception at the Commons during July of 2024. From the minute we decided to choose The Commons through our Wedding day, everything was exceptional.
Getting married at The Commons 1854
The Commons 1854 comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
