From the reviews
We had a perfect time. The owners are kind, attentive, and it’s just a charming place for an informal wedding. But you can still make it what you want. There are chandeliers that work hanging in the trees, a big fire pit to gather after the meal and dancing. They have vendors they work with but you can have your own.
The Buie Barn was an absolutely stunning venue for my daughter's wedding! Gorgeous meadow, chapel, live oaks, and cabins gave us beautiful photos to remember this special day. Timmy & Joyce are wonderful hosts and both have a gift for making your vision for decor happen.
The ambiance was amazing! The bride and groom were lucky to find such a great place to get married. They had to move the wedding to the inside of the chapel last minute due to rain. However, the proprietors made everything look seemless.
Beautiful, rustic, charming and enchanting! One of the best wedding venues on the East coast for sure. Pictures here are the various weddings I have helped here with my vintage wedding cars. Contact me if interested in using one of these cars in your next wedding or event.
Getting married at The Buie Barn
The Buie Barn comes up for weddings, going by their listing and couples’ reviews. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
