From the reviews
Decided to enjoy the weather yesterday and sit outside at The Barnyard Venue. Such a fun spot with plenty of seating, shade and sun. Lots of beers on draft and drink specials. For lunch I got the clam strip roll with onion rings. I’m not a huge eater so the roll was the perfect size for me.
Relaxing outdoor venue with a variety of games like corn hole. Good variety of live music. Plan to spend time here the service is slow. Food is mediocre but prices match the quality. Mixed drinks are not made well so stick to beer and wine or canned & bottled items. 4 stars because of the unique outdoor setting.
The Barnyard Venue in Candia is a welcoming spot with a relaxed, rustic feel and plenty of space to unwind. The outdoor setup with fire pits and live music gives it a great atmosphere, and the food is fresh and enjoyable.
The venue was perfect. Our guests ranged in ages so there was something for everyone. The food was outstanding, all of the guests were commenting on.the chicken wings especially! Planning the event was so easy and the communication was excellent. The staff was so friendly, kind and attentive!
Getting married at The Barnyard Venue
The Barnyard Venue comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at The Barnyard Venue
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at The Barnyard Venue — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
