This is the second year we ventured to The 1761 Old Mill from CT meeting our granddaughter halfway from Maine to have a lunch at a very exquisite venue supporting a family atmosphere of leisure and comfort.
We went to this restaurant with friends and really enjoyed it! The vintage building is charming with so much character, and the view by the pond was beautiful—there were even ducks, and kids could feed them with the free food provided.
I come here every October to enjoy the beautiful scenery. There's a garden behind the restaurant that's perfect for weddings, and the views are stunning! Listening to the flowing falls, The Old Mill offers a unique, serene atmosphere.
Eating at the Old Mill is a unique and rustic experience! Beautiful old building along the water and the dozens of ducks there add a fun and special feel to the place. There were roughly three vegetarian entrees on the menu when I went. They serve sweet corn fritters and pecan rolls as a complimentary appetizer.
