From the reviews
We had our wedding at Tempson Barn and cannot say enough good things about the venue, Tina, and Caitlin. From the very beginning of planning, Tina and Caitlin were so helpful and responsive.
We had our wedding and our rehearsal dinner at the Tempson Barn and could not be happier. Caitlin and Tina were so helpful and made planning from another state a breeze. If we needed anything at all they were always there to help. We had a rustic themed wedding which looked absolutely amazing at the barn.
We got married at Tempson Barn this past Saturday, 09/21 and we already wish we could do it again! The venue is so gorgeous and in a private location, which we loved. All of our guests made comments about the views from the venue and we even had a deer join us for the start of reception down in the field!
I am a local wedding photographer and had the pleasure of working at a wedding here. The venue itself is stunning, with gorgeous views all around and ample photo spots. The staff was warm and welcoming, and made the couple feel relaxed. It was a great experience and I highly recommend the Tempson Barn!
Getting married at Tempson Barn
Tempson Barn comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
