We cannot say enough wonderful things about Sungate Place! As soon as we stepped foot on the grounds Ken, Joanna and Nicole were very welcoming, laid back and excellent hosts! They prepared pizzas for our rehearsal dinner, had were very attentive to anything we needed during the whole process.

Sungate Place was an absolutely wonderful wedding venue and Nichole was the best coordinator you can imagine. The venue is beautiful, with excellent event spaces, ample amenities, gracious hosts and a perfect setting that captures the best of southern OR.
I HIGHLY recommend Sungate Place for your wedding!!! From the very first time we contacted Joanna and Ken, to the end of our wedding night, they answered any and all questions promptly, were extremely helpful at every corner, and made us feel special and taken care of throughout the entire process.

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
