The setting
“We also got to know some of their incredible preferred vendors such as Jackie’s Flowers, Rain from Paesanos Catering, and the Elegant Events Media Team.”
“Nestled in the heart of the Delta, Scribner Bend Winery is not just a place to savor exquisite wines; it's a journey through history, community, and culinary delight.”
“Beautiful green garden for the ceremony as you walk in.”
Amenities couples mention
“They used the cemented area next to the barn which was the other side of the patio area for the dance floor.”
What couples say again and again
“May was the perfect time to be there, the white roses on the arches were in bloom which complemented the rest of our florals beautifully.”
“From a photographer’s standpoint, it’s pure perfection — natural light everywhere, easy access, and staff who make the day feel stress-free for everyone involved.”
“The reason why I did not give 5 stars was because it was a little difficult to get in touch with the coordinator a month before the event.”
From the reviews
Nestled in the heart of the Delta, Scribner Bend Winery is not just a place to savor exquisite wines; it's a journey through history, community, and culinary delight. From the moment you step onto the grounds, the warmth of family and the passion for winemaking envelop you like a comforting embrace.
Scribner Bend is a charming winery/venue for weddings or other gatherings...or just a weekend lunch with friends. Good wine and food (the pizza was top-notch), friendly staff, easy drive from Sacramento, and plenty of free parking. PS - My favorite wine of the day was the "Black Hat" tempranillo.
We came here for my nephews wedding in September. Beautiful green garden for the ceremony as you walk in. A nice patio area for the cocktail hour with an indoor lounge area. Appetizers were okay. Shrimp with sausage and pesto crostini. There's a huge outdoor tent for the reception which fits about 160-200 people.
Scribner Bend Vineyards was one of the last wedding venues that we toured in March of 2024, and the moment we walked the beautiful grounds and got a feel for the flow of how our wedding day would look, we knew it was the perfect venue for us. We were luckily enough to lock in a Saturday in October of 2025.
Getting married at Scribner Bend Vineyards
Scribner Bend Vineyards comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Scribner Bend Vineyards
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Scribner Bend Vineyards — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
