From the reviews
We had our wedding here on June 22nd. It was a beautiful chapel and the perfect ceremony location for what we wanted. Booking with the park district was pretty straight forward and simple. We had a staff member stay present during the times we used the chapel, in case we needed any help or assistance.
Had our wedding at the Schram Memorial Chapel on November 23rd. Katrina and Roe were professional and easy to deal with. It is a smaller chapel, I believe it can house a little over 150. But for smaller weddings it is perfect. The chapel was located on a closed military base so it has quite a bit of history.
The perfect venue for our wedding ceremony. Easy booking, easy parking, and very clean space. Bathrooms in the back and the back room were really great spaces to have for our guests. For our older relatives, the space was easily accessible as well.
I had my wedding ceremony at this chapel back in Nov 1993 as a military member {AZ2} prior to base closure…Attended many Sunday services and/or Shipmates memorial services during my duty at Glenview Air Naval Base.
Getting married at Schram Memorial Chapel
Schram Memorial Chapel comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
