The setting
“The chickens were fearless and awesome (seriously they did not give a single care to heavily armored weirdos getting drunk in their roost!”
From the reviews
Went to the Renaissance Faire. It was busy. They ended up having us park at the local high school and shuttling everyone. Plenty of space for the festival. Separate space for the kid's activities and space for jousting and plenty of space for food and merchandise vendors
Motorcycle Rodeos during spring and fall bike weeks. Reasonable prices on beer. Good food vendors.
Wonderful family acres! Attended the Celtic Festival! Well put together and great location!!
Visited for the Mythical Medieval Renaissance faire! The grounds were well kept and the owners are fantastic for letting the festival keep many of their fences and more permanent structures in place. We had fun, and even got to see Zeek Elmshade, the satyr!
Getting married at RH Acres
RH Acres comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at RH Acres
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at RH Acres — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
