From the reviews
We love Rancho Gallina!!! If you want a unique and memorable getaway, we highly recommend staying with Leslie and Mitch. The ranch is relaxed and rustic, so you can enjoy the natural beauty of their large property and get the real New Mexico experience.
What a lovely villa, just 20 minutes south of Santa Fe. The rooms in the Old House are all unique, historic, updated, and comfortable. (The photos really don't do this place justice). The ranch is an oasis of calm, with numerous hammocks, tables/chairs setup outside, and a hot tob.
We've coming to Rancho Gallina as a family for seven years and each year it gets better. Our kids (now 9 and 11) look forward to it every year. The setting is perfect, the accommodations are unique and cozy, and the food is spectacular.
This is paradise—I’m sitting in the bright sunshine morning in vintage chairs on the front yard with birds singing, drinking local roasted coffee in turquoise ceramic artisan mugs. I can see the blue flax flowers against the periwinkle blue wood trim on old adobe walls.
Getting married at Rancho Gallina Eco-Retreat
Rancho Gallina Eco-Retreat comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
