Clint Mortenson is running the best horseback rides I’ve ever been on! His horses are well trained and SO good. Horse trainer, Jason took 4 of us on a ride to a western town.
Awesome experience! Wes greeted us and was great, what an awesome person to have there! Jason took us out and was really knowledgeable and fun to be with, the horses were amazing, and the whole experience was very special. We are locals and we absolutely loved it, wife, child and all!!!!

Very hospitable. It was an enjoyable ride and the horses were very tame and calm. Kara did I a great job explaining the movie town, showing us around, and helping us with the horses. Would ride with them again!
Getting married at Mortenson Ranch
Mortenson Ranch comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
