From the reviews
Whata beautiful place! The outdoor event space is perfect for a con ert, fundraiser or wedding. The trails are all very clearly marked and lead to beautiful places. And the gardens and history are lovely to walk any season.
Lovely, lovely outdoor space. This was a large artisan market with some food. Many vendors under the large pavilion, others around the grounds with individual canopies. Plenty of room to sit and eat, picnic benches placed in several locations. Nice restrooms; not just portolets, although the one we saw was very clean!
Beautiful! Just beautiful! Definitely well maintained with love from everyone. There was a family wedding there and the help was great.
We only saw 2 other couples while we hiked for over an hour on a Sunday in January. Well marked trails. Lovely place, even in the winter.
Getting married at Parmelee Farm
Parmelee Farm comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
