From the reviews
Hello all, I wanted to share with you my recent visit to the OC Fair. It was truly an enjoyable experience with several impressive aspects that I would like to highlight. From the moment I entered the fairgrounds, I was greeted by the efficient and friendly security staff who ensured a smooth entry process.
OC Fair & Event Center is a solid venue with a lot going on year-round. The space is large and well-organized, making it easy to navigate even during bigger events like the fair. There’s a good mix of food vendors, exhibits, and entertainment, so there’s something for everyone.
Gem Faire Visited the Gem Faire at the OC Fair & Event Center for the first time and had a really nice experience overall! There was a huge variety of gemstones, crystals, beads, jewelry, fossils, and handmade items from many vendors. It’s easy to spend a few hours walking around and exploring.
We attended an event at the OC fair recently based in the Hanger. It was a really cool venue. Lots of space, airy and perfect for the event we attended. Parking was great however there was some confusion with staff charging vendors for parking when it was included etc.
Getting married at OC Fair & Event Center
OC Fair & Event Center comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
