From the reviews
I cannot reccommend Longhorn Guest Ranch enough for your wedding or event. The estate is beautiful and unique and the lodge and cabins look like you have just walked onto a John Wayne movie set. My husband and I reserved the ranch for the weekend for our wedding this past September.
I am posting on behalf of my husband and myself. We were lucky enough to be married at the Longhorn Guest Ranch this summer. I only visited this venue once we were engaged and we knew right away this was our spot.
We just had our wedding on June 28th and it was the most wonderful experience! The longhorn guest ranch is under new ownership and I have to say Sheila and her family are the most warm, professional, and hardworking people! I would highly recommend having Sheila’s daughter in law Anna do your day of coordinating.
I recently had the opportunity to attend a wedding at Longhorn Guest Ranch, celebrating Cody and Isabella. Not only is the guest ranch a stunning location for a wedding; but Jason and Victoria Johnson, owners of the ranch, are exceptional hosts. From the minute we arrived we felt welcome.
Getting married at Longhorn Guest Ranch
Longhorn Guest Ranch comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Longhorn Guest Ranch
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Longhorn Guest Ranch — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
