From the reviews
Throughout my wedding the compliment I received the most was how beautiful the venue was. And while I did take some credit because I hunted down the perfect venue the entire credit goes to Whitney the owner. Her and her family put so much love into the space that it’s straight out of a fairytale.
Having our wedding at Loblolly was nothing short of amazing! For starters, Whitney was one of the most awesome people to work with. She was super responsive to emails and extremely accommodating with all of our wedding needs, including helping us figure out a path our horse and surrey could travel on as part of the…
Loblolly was an awesome venue to have our High School event! Working with Whitney and her staff were great and they were very accommodating to our needs. We were looking for a venue to host 200 high school kids and their families on a weeknight and wanted to get away from the traditional "banquet hall" setting that…
Just got married in September, and I absolutely LOVED loblolly. Firstly, the property is lovely, so much natural beauty with all of the greenery. It’s such an intimate place, and feels like a little private getaway with you and your guests, as it’s set back from the road and surrounded by trees.
Getting married at Loblolly Rise
Loblolly Rise comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
