From the reviews
As a wedding photographer, Lion Rock Farm is #1 on my list of locations. Any direction you turn is a beautiful "set" for your candids to unfold, the service is impeccable and there is lodging for your closest family. It's the perfect mini destination wedding weekend away, especially if you live in NYC.
I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at LionRock Farm, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. From a photographer’s perspective, this venue offers everything one could hope for. Matthew & the team were a dream to work with! First and foremost, the aesthetics of the venue are breathtaking.
The most beautiful venue for a wedding or event! Did the flowers for a fall lunch and it was perfect, the staff is so helpful and responsive.
Lion Rock Farm was the first and only venue we looked at when we were trying to book a venue. The property is so beautiful, the property management (Hunt and Harvest) is so good at what they do and it was one of the best decisions we could make.
Getting married at LionRock Farm
LionRock Farm comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
