From the reviews
For couples seeking a wedding venue without walls, Indian Rock Tree Farm is a stellar choice. Yep--you can exchange vows, hang with the wedding party, and dance the night away without ever leaving the forest. That's a rarity as far as Sacramento-area venues go!
It was buuusy when we came but they had a lot of staff directing cars and all were very friendly. It was fun to go pick out a tree. Most people stood around shouting "cutter" but we had faster service by going to find someone. He was very friendly too. We carried our own tree down.
First time we have gone to a tree farm and it was alot of fun! My sister gave me a parking pass for Thanksgiving weekend, we were able to park easily played around and explored before finding our perfect tree and yelling "Cutter!" Like a game of Marco polo til the staff could find us haha.
Amazing area, great staff that was extremely helpful. Food and a fire pit to warm up. You get the experience of picking out your own tree. They will come and cut it down and carry it down the mountain for you. The price wasn’t that much more that the pre cut lots in the city but the experience is well worth it.
Getting married at Indian Rock Tree Farm
Indian Rock Tree Farm comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
