From the reviews
Beautiful venue and the wedding we attended was as well. Nice spacious outside areas & inside was plenty of room for dancing and tables. It was a bit of rain in forecast so ceremony was inside and amazing still.
We booked our wedding for November and we had to change it indoor at the last minute because of the rain but it still turn out beautiful. Great location, beautiful place, amazing setup, and reasonably price. It will host about 100 people very comfortably.
My daughter was married at Hayes McDonald Farm during Covid-19. We were originally scheduled for April and then moved it to July. Amy, the wedding coordinator was so helpful throughout the process.
Great knowledgeable people at Hays-McDonald farm. They were patient, and informative with every aspect of the wedding. I would recommend them to anyone wishing to have a wedding done in a professional manner. The short version is, IT WAS GREAT!!
Getting married at Hays-McDonald Farm
Hays-McDonald Farm comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Hays-McDonald Farm
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Hays-McDonald Farm — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
