From the reviews
A beautiful location for a wedding ceremony and reception! The staff were top notch, very helpful and professional. I liked how there were different areas inside and outside such as two courtyards and inside the stables themselves. The water fountain in the larger courtyard was a very nice feature.
New venue at Hartwood Acres for gatherings, parties and especially weddings from the ceremony with a beautiful setting to the under glass (clear roof) reception setting that you can customize to your dreams. Capacity around 100.
This venue is so gorgeous! Open air, intimate and all the charming details you could ever want! I love working here, and will add it to my list of 'best' Pittsburgh venues
Our wedding at the Stables at Hartwood Acres was an absolute dream! My husband and I love the historic nature of the venue — the stables themselves and the land surrounding them are absolutely breathtaking. The getting ready cottage on site was perfect for me and my bridesmaids.
Getting married at Hartwood Acres Stables
Hartwood Acres Stables comes up for weddings, going by their listing and couples’ reviews. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
