Beautiful scenery of the ocean from the vineyard. Staff was friendly and explained the different varietals. The best part of this vinyard is all the picnic tables, large venue tent and a couple of local vendors that were selling chowder and donuts.
A wonderful experience to share with friends and family, beautiful views and remarkable wine. The vineyard is quite large and can accommodate a lot of people within a vintage pavilion or picturesque outdoor setting. The staff are friendly and well versed on local vines.
What an absolutely beautiful place! The wines were excellent. We had an opportunity to go for a walk and chat with the owners, they are wonderful people! We happened to catch part of a wedding taking place on their property. An incredible place for a wedding.
My husband and I stopped in last weekend while visiting RI, and so happy we did. The grounds were lovely, had relaxed vibes and you could see the water while sitting at most of the tables outside(we played musical chairs to take in whole experience). The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive.
Getting married at Greenvale Vineyards
Greenvale Vineyards comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
