From the reviews
My daughter and her new husband chose the Claxton Farm as their wedding backdrop and it did NOT disappoint! What a beautiful place and the staff was first rate ! Would definitely recommend to all . Your's truly w/a very pretty lady at the wedding
I can't say thank you enough to the amazing team at Claxton Farm. I got married there on 11/13/21. Emily and Kayleigh were absolutely wonderful and helped us plan the event start to finish. They were thorough and helped guide me through the wedding planning process, and answered all of my questions.
Our wedding day at Claxton Farm was everything we dreamed of and more. I had it on my radar since before getting engaged as it was recommended to me, and it ended up being the only venue we toured — that’s how sure we were!
We had a beautiful experience with Claxton Farm and M7 events. They were communicative, organized, and so helpful. I was excited to find a venue that had such a gorgeous view and felt like it was in the middle of the country even though it is only about 15 minutes from downtown Asheville.
Getting married at Claxton Farm
Claxton Farm comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Claxton Farm
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Claxton Farm — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
