From the reviews
Christopher Creek Lodge is the place to stay if you are in Payson! We booked a space for a wedding and reception and they EXCEEDED our expectations. Reyna and her team are a dream to work with! She is responsive and her team is always willing to assist. The cabins are so cute and CLEAN.

If you're looking for a rustic, close-to-nature experience, this is it. It's glamping light. Log cabins with a large central fire pit; cabins overlooking a creek, surrounded by the forest, have a personal bbq. The cabins have kitchenettes; not fancy but well-stocked.
I stayed here for two nights from April 26 to 28. The man in the office was very kind, friendly, and helpful. On the first night, I stayed in Room A9. It was also very comfortable, but the next day I moved to the larger lodge, C3.
Getting married at Christopher Creek Lodge
Christopher Creek Lodge comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Christopher Creek Lodge
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Christopher Creek Lodge — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
