This venue couldn't have been more perfect for our wedding. We wanted a spot where everyone could be for the ceremony, reception, lodging, with a beautiful view in the woods, and this was it.
Attended for a wedding where the couple rented out the entire location for the wedding party and family. The staff and Rick, one of the owners, were very friendly and engaging to chat with. They supplied guidance for the area on hikes and shops.
Stayed here for an on-site wedding with a large group of friends and everything was incredible. I forgot a personal item when we left at the end of the weekend, and the staff (Alyssa, specifically) was kind enough to track it down for me and send it back.
Getting married at Cabins on Strawberry Hill
Cabins on Strawberry Hill comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Cabins on Strawberry Hill
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Cabins on Strawberry Hill — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
