From the reviews
Ten out of freaking ten! INCREDIBLE. Amazing from start to finish - Celebrated my 30th birthday here and we couldn't have asked for better weather! 75 and sunny and the outdoor area was stunning, so thankful we were able to get the full experience!
Wow. I don’t even know where to begin. Celeste Farms is such a special place of community. The land feels sacred, the people open, welcoming, inclusive, conscious. There is so much attention and thought devoted to the wellbeing of all. Everyone I have talked to who has been here feels it too.
2/16/26 - Pretty cool place. My sister in law wanted to check this place to possible book for her wedding. When we got there, they told us to go ahead and walk around. We got to see the land, and even the chickens & some pups. They had a small menu to order which I got the soup of the day and some tea.
This place is already a Richmond staple! You could hear the passion for what he did through his tour of the farm, and you could taste it on the rustic family meal approach to a local (mostly and eventually fully) single source farm to table event.
Getting married at Celeste Farms
Celeste Farms comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Celeste Farms
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Celeste Farms — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
