From the reviews
If you are anywhere near the Houston/Galveston area, you must stay at the Cedar Oaks Inn for a truly wonderful experience. It is such a unique and peaceful place, tucked away under large oaks dripping with Spanish moss.
If you're anywhere near Houston this little 5 acre retreat is a blessing. This true bed and breakfast has it all. From the rustic feel of a historic gem all the way to the feel good home vibe. What an inviting place. They offer three different stay places that each have their own feel.
Amazing!!! This place is like no other, and you won't believe what you've discovered. Jeff and Tonya are amazing people who have taken a historic farm and created a magical place that you will want to visit again and again.
We had just the best stay with Tanya and Jeff at The Cedar Oaks Inn. We stayed in the Birdcage Saloon and really loved it and had the most wonderful experience. Both the upper bedroom area and downstairs saloon are beautifully decorated with fascinating period pieces and furniture. There was so much to look at.
Getting married at Cedar Oaks Inn Bed and Breakfast
Cedar Oaks Inn Bed and Breakfast comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Cedar Oaks Inn Bed and Breakfast
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Cedar Oaks Inn Bed and Breakfast — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
