From the reviews
We just had our wedding there last weekend and I can't say enough wonderful things about this venue and the staff. We started working with Sarah, who was amazing, and then we worked with Nancy and John, who are equally incredible people.
My experience working with Sarah at the Carlisle Ribbon Mill was incredible! She was so helpful and made our wedding day extremely special. She is amazing at what she does and has a lot of experience and great input. The venue itself is beautiful!
We chose this place to host our wedding after meeting the fantastic owners. Not only is the location beautiful and ideal because it can host ceremony and reception with no weather worries, but Nancy and John sold it! They were irreplaceable leading up to and on the day of.
The Ribbon Mill is AWESOME! My fiance and I had our engagement party at the Ribbon Mill. Nancy and John were wonderful to work with! They have PLENTY of decor that they allowed us to borrow. They were very helpful with the setup and tear down. They helped coordinate a bartender for us as well!
Getting married at Carlisle Ribbon Mill
Carlisle Ribbon Mill comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Carlisle Ribbon Mill
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Carlisle Ribbon Mill — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
