From the reviews
Had such a great experience at Bittersweet for our wedding! We ended up having to postpone our wedding because of covid. The process of moving dates and coordinating was so easy! Our wedding coordinator Abby did a great job communicating with us prior and during the wedding.
My daughter was married at Bittersweet Farms last weekend! From our first tour of the property to the tasting and throughout our planning Alexis was amazing! During rehearsal and the wedding everything went so smoothly! The communication between staff and our vendor's was excellent!
Bittersweet farm was the most magical place we could have asked to have our wedding. We had the most amazing experience planning our wedding with Alexis Ferland. The staff was amazing, venue was beautiful, and I couldn’t imagine having my wedding anywhere else. Thank you Bittersweet Farm!!
I just wanted to touch on our wedding experience here at Bittersweet Farm for anyone else considering this as their venue — You can’t beat the location, it’s beautiful all the way around.
Getting married at Bittersweet Farm Restaurant and Tavern
Bittersweet Farm Restaurant and Tavern comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Bittersweet Farm Restaurant and Tavern
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Bittersweet Farm Restaurant and Tavern — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
