“It would be good to be aware that like any wedding venue costs can add up a bit and there are a few vendors that you have to use (like their bar services).”

Addison did a wonderful job with everything. She greeted me at the rehearsal, gave a beautiful handkerchief to use during the ceremony (which I definitely used) and she ran the rehearsal so well and made it very easy. There were no issues on the day of and I really was able to relax.
We had our wedding at Woods Retreat in August 2025 and could not have asked for a better day. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and Megan is great to work with. We are so happy we got married at The Woods Retreat! From the first time we toured - seeing the beautiful indoor and beautiful outdoor spaces, we knew it was the perfect place for us to be married. It is so charming and feels like you’re in the middle of a woodland fairytale!
Getting married at Woods Retreat
Woods Retreat comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Woods Retreat
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Woods Retreat — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
