Winter Wood Farm is a beautiful venue not to mention the incredible views. But, much more than this are the owners! We were on our way to Winter Wood Farm when the serpentine belt snapped on our truck 25 miles from the venue. We were the band hired to play for the reception.
My daughter was married at Winter Woods this past weekend and it was absolutely gorgeous. The owners, and family, staff were amazing. Honestly, I could not be more pleased with the venue. So thankful Meredith and Landon chose Winter Woods.
If your gonna have an outside wedding this is place to do it. Great view of the Mountains and an excellent building for the rest of the service. Highly recommend booking early. One of a kind place.
I've had the pleasure of photographing multiple weddings and editorials at Winter Wood Farm over the past few years, and it remains one of my absolute favorite venues in North Carolina to work at.

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
