This wedding venue was amazing. The Bride and groom had the dance floor set up in the middle of the room, and the energy it created was unmatched. The food was spectacular, the setting was simply superb. The bridal cottage was a huge asset for the bridal party.

I used Willow On Grand for my baby shower. This venue is known for their outstanding weddings but I was delighted to find out they host all kinds and sizes of events there. The space is beautiful and clean and the staff is top notch.
Stunning wedding venue in Des Moines!! As a wedding photographer, this is one of my favorite venues in the Des Moines area! Not only is the space stunning, but the location and amenities make this the perfect space to start your forever and celebrate with all your favorite people!
Getting married at Willow on Grand
Willow on Grand comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
